JBL Club 1000P 10" Ported Car Subwoofer Enclosure with Slipstream Port Technology
The JBL Club 1000P combines a 10-inch polypropylene subwoofer, 350W RMS power handling, and Slipstream Port Technology in a compact ported enclosure. Designed with a wedge-shaped cabinet and rounded corners, it gives you flexible placement options while helping maximize available vehicle space. Want stronger bass without adding unnecessary port noise? This enclosure is built to deliver louder, cleaner low-frequency output.
10-Inch Polypropylene Subwoofer
At the center of the JBL Club 1000P is a single 10-inch, or 250mm, polypropylene driver. It handles 350 watts RMS and reaches up to 1050 watts peak power. With an 83dB sensitivity rating and 2-ohm nominal impedance, the subwoofer is designed for powerful bass reproduction from its compact enclosure.
The driver also uses a 2-inch, or 50mm, voice coil. Its frequency response extends from 35Hz to 400Hz at -6dB, giving the JBL Club 1000P the range needed to focus on the lower frequencies in your car audio system.
Slipstream Port Technology for Cleaner Bass
Small subwoofer enclosures often require longer ports to produce strong low-frequency performance. However, longer ports can create air turbulence and unwanted port noise. JBL addresses that issue with its proprietary Slipstream Port Technology.
The port design inside the JBL Club 1000P efficiently limits turbulence as air moves through the enclosure. As a result, the design reduces port noise and distortion while providing greater output potential than conventional ports. Think of it like smoothing the airflow through a tunnel: less turbulence helps the bass come through louder and cleaner.
350W RMS and 1050W Peak Power Handling
The JBL Club 1000P handles 350 watts RMS and up to 1050 watts peak. That combination gives the enclosure substantial power capability for a single 10-inch subwoofer. Whether you're focusing on clean bass response or stronger low-frequency output, its power specifications provide a solid foundation for your car audio system.
Wedge-Shaped Enclosure with Rounded Corners
Vehicle space can disappear quickly once you start adding audio equipment. For that reason, the JBL Club 1000P uses a wedge box design with rounded corners. This shape allows for different placement directions, helping you find the position that delivers the best performance while making efficient use of available space.
The enclosure measures 264.8mm D1 x 345.2mm D2 x 447mm W x 379mm H. In imperial measurements, that equals 10-7/16 inches D1 x 13-5/8 inches D2 x 17-5/8 inches W x 14-15/16 inches H.
Durable 18mm MDF Construction
The JBL Club 1000P enclosure uses 11/16-inch, or 18mm, MDF construction covered in black carpet. The MDF provides a solid cabinet structure, while the carpet covering gives the enclosure a clean exterior finish suitable for a vehicle interior.
Removable JBL Logo Badge
JBL includes a removable logo badge with the enclosure, allowing you to position the branding wherever you prefer. This small detail works especially well with the flexible wedge-box design because you can adjust the enclosure's direction without being locked into one logo position.
