JL Audio M-RBC-1 #98404 Remote level control
JL Audio M-RBC-1 wired remote controls the output level of JL Audio's HX-Series and MHX-Series amps — amps designed for powersport and marine applications that need a wired remote built for rough conditions.
Overview
The JL Audio M-RBC-1 Water-Resistant Wired Remote Bass Controller is designed to remotely control the level of compatible JL Audio marine amplifiers equipped with a "Remote Bass" port. The RJ-14 connector at the end of the 16.5' cable has a water-resistant connection with a rubber cover. It can be mounted to surfaces no more than 1/8" thick. With an IPX-6 rating, the M-RBC-1 is splash-proof, however, it is not submersible. The M-RBC-1 comes with a black ABS plastic knob. A satin-finish aluminum knob can be purchased from the manufacturer, if desired.
Compatibility
The JL Audio M-RBC-1 is compatible with the following JL Audio marine amplifiers: HX300/1 and MHX300/1, controlling the Bass level when in Low-Pass mode. These amps have a female RJ-14 jack with a water-resistant cover like the remote cable, making the connection highly resistant to moisture.
