Kanto TUK (2nd Gen) 260W Premium Powered Speakers with Bluetooth - Pair
Kanto TUK (2nd Gen) delivers refined sound and 260W peak power, while flexible connectivity simplifies everyday listening. Additionally, redesigned cabinets and updated DSP create a balanced, natural presentation. Meanwhile, precision AMT tweeters reproduce detailed highs, whereas 5.25-inch aluminum woofers deliver deep, controlled bass. Finally, versatile wired and wireless connections make it easy to enjoy your favourite audio sources.
Refined Acoustic Engineering
Great sound starts with the right foundation. Kanto redesigned the acoustic-grade MDF rear-ported cabinets with increased internal volume, giving the drivers a more stable platform to work from. The sharper geometry and defined lines also help reduce edge diffraction while giving the speakers a clean, intentional appearance.
Inside, Kanto TUK (2nd Gen) pairs 28 mm x 35 mm Air Motion Transformer tweeters with 5.25-inch aluminum concave cone woofers. The fast AMT tweeters reproduce detailed high frequencies, while the aluminum woofers handle bass with depth and control.
Updated DSP for a More Natural Presentation
More power means little without control. Updated DSP tuning and an improved 2-way crossover help Kanto TUK (2nd Gen) maintain a neutral, balanced response that stays faithful to the recording. The 2.7 kHz crossover carefully divides frequencies between the tweeters and woofers, helping vocals, instruments, and subtle details remain clearly defined.
Its frequency response extends from 50 Hz to 22 kHz, giving you a broad range for everyday listening. Think of the DSP and crossover as traffic control for your music, directing each frequency toward the driver designed to reproduce it.
260W Peak Power From Class D Amplification
Kanto TUK (2nd Gen) uses Class D amplification to deliver 130 watts total RMS and up to 260W of peak power. That built-in amplification means the speakers are designed as a complete powered system, keeping your audio setup focused and uncomplicated.
- 260W peak power
- 130 watts total RMS
- Class D amplifier
- 4-ohm nominal impedance
- 950 mV input sensitivity
- 50 Hz to 22 kHz frequency response
- 2.7 kHz crossover frequency
Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX Adaptive
Want to keep cables to a minimum? Kanto TUK (2nd Gen) features Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX Adaptive, AAC, and SBC support for convenient wireless streaming from compatible devices. You can quickly switch to wireless listening while keeping several wired sources ready when you need them.
USB-C, Optical and Dual RCA Connectivity
Not every audio source connects the same way, so flexibility matters. Alongside Bluetooth, these powered bookshelf speakers include USB-C, optical TOSLINK, and dual RCA line-level inputs. USB-C and optical connections support audio up to 24-bit/96 kHz.
This mix of digital and analog connectivity allows Kanto TUK (2nd Gen) to work with both contemporary and legacy audio gear. You also get a 5V/2A USB charging output, adding another practical connection to the system.
Better Control When Adding a Subwoofer
Need more low-end impact? A dedicated subwoofer output makes system expansion simple. The selectable 80 Hz crossover sends frequencies at 80 Hz and below to an attached subwoofer, allowing TUK to concentrate more closely on midrange and high-frequency detail.
This controlled crossover can reduce overall distortion and improve transient response, creating tighter and cleaner performance. Rather than having the speakers and subwoofer compete for the same frequencies, each can focus on its assigned range.
Designed for Everyday Convenience
Kanto TUK (2nd Gen) includes an infrared remote control, so essential adjustments stay within reach. Auto-standby functionality also helps simplify daily use, while the universal AC 100V to 240V, 50/60 Hz power supply adds flexibility.
Each speaker also features a 1/4"-20 threaded hole on the bottom for mounting. The active speaker connects to the passive speaker through a knurled five-way binding post connection.
Premium Construction with a Focused Design
The updated TUK design isn't simply cosmetic. Its sharper geometry and more defined lines help reduce edge diffraction while giving the speakers a confident presence in your room. Acoustic-grade MDF construction provides the solid cabinet structure needed to support the redesigned acoustic platform.
Each speaker measures 7.2 inches wide, 10 inches deep, and 12 inches high. Together, the pair weighs 23.8 lb, with the active speaker weighing 12.4 lb and the passive speaker weighing 11.4 lb.
