Through its DeutschTM and Amphenol connectors integrated into the basket, the M2 series of Element ReadyTM subwoofers are designed to work with the Rockford Fosgate Color OptixTM Controller and RF Connect App, allowing you to create your color patterns. These speakers are Element ReadyTM and truly purpose-built for marine applications, thanks to their IP67 certification and Element ReadyTM certification. M1 subwoofers feature a VersaSwitchTM to make changing impedance between 1 and 4 ohms as simple as flipping a switch, which complements the plug-and-play connectivity and streamlines installation.

The rugged, removable grille on this M1 Series Rockford Fosgate M1D2-8B 8" sub looks great and stands up to blistering sunlight and damaging moisture. A mineral-filled polypropylene cone with UV inhibitors, as well as a moisture- and tear-resistant synthetic fiber blend spider, are molded beneath the UV-stable shell and durable Santoprene rubber surround.

Switchable impedance

The 2-position VersaSwitch lets you set up the sub for 1-ohm or 4-ohm impedance with a simple flip of the switch. Rockford Fosgate's corrosion-resistant, spring-loaded push terminals and flexible, insulated silicone lead wire will stand up to the elements, whether you're on open water or tied up at the marina.
