The Rockford Fosgate M5-1000X1 amplifier features a next-generation Element Ready design that's built to withstand the elements. For use with Rockford Fosgate UTV audio kits, a new PRESET switch eliminates the need to set up and tune the amp for the best possible experience. M5 amplifiers are based on the popular TM series and feature the same great technologies as the TM series, such as Constant Power, Class-BD, and C.L.E.A.N. Amplifiers from Rockford Fosgate are known for producing more power than their ratings suggest.
The M5 amplifiers are the first in the industry to use the new Dynamic Power ratings, which puts their conservative ratings front and centre. This is real dynamic power, engineered from the ground up and purpose-built to deliver more output where you actually hear it. Both the traditional Continuous Power output and the new Dynamic Power output, both tested in accordance with the CTA-2006 specification, are available. Consider Continuous Power to be the wattage developed on the test bench for comparison to other amplifiers in the same class, and Dynamic Power to be the real-world wattage when connected to a speaker load and listening to music.
