TOA MIC-X55 Lavalier Microphone
In order to make it easier to attach the MIC-X55 electret sub-miniature microphone capsule to a lapel or tie for communications, public speaking, music recording, and other uses, molded plastic housing and a cable are included. The flat, extended frequency response of this microphone makes it ideal for reproducing voices or musical instruments. The standard design includes a black shielded wire that is 1.5 meters long and 2.5mm in diameter. Two wires and a spiral wrapped shield are part of this cable and are attached to the microphone capsule. Combined with molded elastic strain relief, a composite steel retainer creates a particularly durable small packaging. Moving garments and handling produce relatively little noise. Wide band omni-directional polarization is present in the MIC-X55. There is also internal RFI suppression.
